Despite some unflattering reviews, we purchased the range because overall it was the best balance of style, function and price that we could find. Our contractor installed it with relative ease. The first time I tried to use it the large front  burner would give me an error message. I felt sure I was doing something wrong like incorrect pan size, hitting wrong button etc. I knew it wasn't the pans themselves because we bought those new as well. Surely, it couldn't be the range itself because it was brand spanking new!!!! I hadn't had a first meal on it yet! After a frustrating first night, I contacting Electrolux. The support staff was courteous and told me quickly that I had an internal generator problem. Great.,?!?! He referred me to an authorized dealer that I contacted in am.  Once out he diagnosed end the problem the same way and said he would have to order part.  The office called me to say it was back ordered for months!!! She encouraged me to call back to Electrolux and explain my issue. She said Electolux stands by their products and would not want me to have to wait that long. I contacted customer service and explained my great frustration as several weeks have gone by now. She was sympathetic to my plight. She found a part somewhere else in US and had it shipped to me next week. Conclusion..it works great now. I love the sleekness. It is easy to clean. Food heats up and in done in no time-- including awesome oven. So rough start happy ending.

To come home from a long day at work and get to have this range respond so beautifully to the touch to power it on is still a thrill every time. I did not expect that. The materials and finish exude quality.   The element control is so responsive; you'll never overshoot too high or low.  A few features that make induction a worthwhile and practical choice:  you cannot turn on a heating element without a pan on it, also the cooktop is much easier to clean because it does not heat up enough on the surface to burn any spills.  The oven cooks evenly and much better than my old convection range. The bottom oven is great too- I made perfect roasted potato wedges in it.  This range has simply exceeded my expectations in every dimension.

I have wanted a new range for quite some time, so I have been comparing and pricing ranges in various stores and by various manufacturers.  When I saw the "Electrolux" range, I knew I had found my range. Now that I have my new" Electrolux" range, it is everything I expected it to be.   I love the induction feature and the safety it provides for my grandchildren.  I use the rapid boil feature nearly every day. The oven bakes perfectly and when I use the convection feature, gets hot quickly and bakes evenly. I love the glide out shelves and the easy self-clean feature. I haven't used the bottom drawer feature yet, but will soon. The only thing that I am unhappy about, is that I didn't buy my "Electrolux" range years ago!

As soon as I saw my first induction stove it became my dream to own one.  Certainly number 1 on the bucket list!  I had just purchased my condo on the beach and it had a glass stove top, fully operational and top of the line, but not induction.. So my first purchase for the new home would be a new induction stove.  I researched all the available models all the brands that were manufactured.  Consistently Electrolux received the best ratings.  Then I went to Kitchen Works to see the models available.  All I can say is WOW.  What a beautiful appliance. I ordered the right model for me. My friends are all envious and I could not be more pleased with the looks and performance.  Great value for the price and better than gas range for control of stovetop.  All the features available for use in the two ovens have truly made everyone that sees it have Electrolux induction envy!!

Pros: Heats pots and pans quickly ; Great safety features - surface turns off when a pot is off-center or removed for a period of time; Power Boil will boil a pot of water in an incredibly short period of time. Cons: Surface shows fingerprints; Rubber gasket around top and control panel will often collect crumbs. Overall an excellent range. The controls are somewhat intuitive, but to get the most out of the range you need to read the manual.

Love our induction range. Can heat up soup quicker than my microwave and more evenly. Extremely easy to clean. And it looks cool! Only complain is that the bottom oven's door is too close to the floor. Our floor is not that even and if not careful, it'll scratch our hardwood floor. But that's only if you have an uneven floor.

This is my 3rd induction stove, and I will certainly buy it again. It is much faster than gas. We are located in the Appalachian mountains, so sometimes cooking is slower than on the flat lands. It is also much cooler in the kitchen when cooking on the stovetop as just the pot heats up. Fabulous!

Induction is the best.  Cooks fast, with great temp control. Clean up is so easy--no baked on messes.  Only drawback is the pots and pans you need for induction are heavy. I love the two ovens.  A great appliance overall.

We bought this stove sight unseen. It was beautiful when it arrived. It took a little to get used to but it is a great alternative to gas. Much cleaner and very easy to use once you figure out the controls. Oven seems a little small but when you have two in one it is a tradeoff I am happy to make.

I absolutely love this range. I have always been a "gas ranges are the best" person, until I bought my new induction oven. It was going to be hard to get a gas line into the house, and because one of my friends (who is a great cook) told me that she enjoys her induction oven more than her gas range up north, I thought I would investigate it. The more I read, the more I was swayed. Well, I couldn't be happier. I love everything about my new range: the looks, the double oven, the wonderful cook top that heats water in less than a minute or two. There is a better range than gas, and this is it! Love my Electrolux!!

I've only had my new Electrolux range for three weeks, and I'm already in love with it. Everything I've cooked in it or on it has been done perfectly...no hassles, unlike my last experience with an un-named product. Nothing but failures and it took six months for the manufacturer to agree to take it back. After researching the internet, I decided to go with Electrolux and couldn't be happier.

Had to change out a number of pots and pans, but it was well worth it. Got rid of some 30 year old pans and the new SS pans are great. Especially loving my non-stick Scanpan. The Electrolux range is solidly built and after a year is still looking pretty much new. Sometimes I miss the personal touch of the gas flame, but the induction cook top is just as responsive. And what at first I thought was for storage, a second oven. Biggest issues so far is keeping the top clean. Have to keep wiping off the fingerprints. No place to hide on the smooth glass cooktop and touch pad. Did pick up a conductive stylus (for phone touch pads) and I keep it handy. I did the installation myself, it is a very heavy unit so I got a good work out. We cook most days, often two meals. Not much baking, but the few batches of bread and cookies turned out fine. The food drying mode allows for a wide range of temperatures and cold curing salmon worked fine. so salmon lox, beef jerky, dried fruit next.

We bought this oven about four months ago to replace a nearly 20 year old contractor grade oven that came with the house. Installation instructions were straight-forward and to the point which made the job a lot easier. One thing to watch out for is that this range is heavy, so you will want to have somebody help you move it around. Once installed, the owner's manual is very helpful for setting up the range to work the way you want it to. Please read the manual, it makes things go so much better! I have no been cooking every day with this range for over four months and I'm still trying to figure out how I lived without an induction cook-top for so long. If you are not familiar with an induction cook-top, pans with a high amount of iron in them are required. Aluminum and copper pans will not allow the energy to transfer. There are a lot of internet reviews telling you to stay away from cast iron because it can scratch the glass top. I use cast iron on this range regularly and this has not been a problem. If your cast iron cookware has rough edges, sand them down smooth and all is good. I think the biggest concern is that cast iron can be heavy and there is a chance of cracking the glass if you drop the pan on the cook-top, so be careful. Back to the review - one feature that I really like on the cook-top is that when you remove a pan from an element, the display flashes letting you know the element is on, but not transferring energy. Cook-top temperature control is smooth and accurate. I have found that the "medium" setting is a little low for most cooking and that the 6 or 6.5 is closer to the "medium" I am used to. "Power Boil" or Pb on the display, is a great feature for rapidly bringing a pot of water to a boil. One thing I have noticed is that when you have three or four burners going at once, the range will make some funny noises. This is the power supply switching between burners to provide energy. Do not be alarmed, it's okay. The oven is temperature accurate at a number of different settings which is a very good thing. Traditional baking and convection baking work very well. My only complaints with the oven is that it heats a bit slowly even in the "rapid heat" mode and when using the temperature probe, the oven defaults to a 350 degree setting. Sometimes it's useful to be able to use a lower temp setting for cooking low and slow, but if you want to do that, the temperature probe cannot be used. The lower oven is a great feature for baking when there is a Turkey or a Ham in the upper oven. It too, is accurate and does a good job. Overall, the range is easy to use, the settings on the panel become easy to use once you get spend a few minutes with the manual, the smooth top is easy to clean and the oven is easy to clean. This range is expensive, but it is proving to be worth the investment. I'm looking forward to spending a number of years happily using this range.

I have had my range for about a month.  I have cooked on it 2+ times per day.  I have not used all of the fancy settings, but I have used the basic ones.  It boils water for my breakfast cereal faster than I can get the cereal ready!  I have had to adjust all of my cook times because everything on the top of the range gets done faster than my old glass top range.  I have had multiple burners going with the oven on with no problems.  I read some reviews that complained that their range didn't perform very well when everything was being used.  I happened to talk to an Electrolux representative who told me that the stove will work on 40 amp, but that it really needs 50 amp service.  I suspect that those experiencing issues with performance had only 40 amp service.  Mine was changed to 50 amp.  No problems.  This is an easy range to keep clean and it looks absolutely spectacular in my kitchen.  I thought it might overwhelm the kitchen, but it doesn't at all.  Did I mention I like the two easy glide racks inside the oven?  I also like the blue color inside both of the ovens.  Very nice.

I've only had this induction oven about a month now but am loving it. The induction cooktop is very cool in how quick it is and how precise one can be just if you had a gas range yet with the ease of clean up as my old Ceran top electric that this replaced. I also like the convection feature on the main oven that gives maximum flexibility to do whatever you want (i.e drying mode, defrost mode, bread proofing and Perfect Turkey to name just a few modes). And finally I like the second oven and the fact that it is on the bottom. Too many manufactures have the small oven up top so you have to get down to the floor to use the larger, main oven. Makes no sense...then along comes Electrolux with a better idea. Great product and I would recommend to anyone!

We were remodeling the kitchen of our new home before we moved in. The home was built in the 1960's and the kitchen was in need of a major overhaul. We removed the  wall double electric oven and the electric cooktop.  Our choice to replace all of the above was the 30" Induction Slide-In Range.  Beautifully designed, we love the blue oven interior and how pretty it looks when the door opens and the light comes on. And the racks just glide out, moving effortlessly.  The small bottom oven is very handy for cooking something small that doesn't need the bigger oven. Feels good not to waste electricity heating the larger oven. That all said the two things I would change about this range are as follows. First, tho' it mentions in the owners manual about the clicking or humming noise the burners make when turned on, I do find it slightly irritating.  And the air that is used to cool under the induction panels on the cook top can get rather cool blowing out on the cook. One other design I'd add is rapid preheat for the smaller, bottom oven. Sometimes I just need the oven hot fast and I must use the larger oven because the lower takes to long to heat.

I have only had this range for a few weeks and am having so much fun getting to know it! Homemade bread comes out perfectly browned (the oven test item), and other baked items are just beautifully done.  I love all of the oven features, since bread proofing and dehydrating were two things I really didn't want to give up when I bought a new range, plus it has  the slow cook, and so many other options  that I haven't tried yet. One deciding factor for us was that the oven vents out the front, so is compatible with a surround made of composite material such as Corian. The oven on our old range vented out the left corner of the cooktop and the broiler heat cracked the countertop twice ($500 per repair). The cooktop is fabulous! Easy to control, fast, and responsive. The heat settings are in .5 increments, so lots of control. The only issue I have is with the finish. Two oven racks look marred, like having been hit with a with a wire brush, and a rough joining on one (the replacement for one that was so marred that I was concerned about ever getting it clean if something baked on). Electrolux was very responsive when I called them about the excessively marred oven rack. I just don't feel like making a fuss about the other  two questionably finished racks, since the issues are really rather minor. The other concern I have is with the stainless metal trim between the control panel and the cooktop that is INCREDIBLY easy to scratch!!! We can't even think of where the  minor scratches came from, since we are really careful. I'm hoping that over time, with cleaning/rubbing, they will disappear.

I absolutely love my new range. The induction cooking is just amazing. I put on a pot of water one night for spaghetti. By the time I got back from the pantry with the pasta, there were already bubbles in the bottom of the pot. Last night I put on water for wild rice for company. They were amazed at how fast it boiled. I would bet that if any of them ever decide to replace their range that it will be induction. The lower oven is great for baking potatoes and keeping warm rather than heating up the big oven. The racks in the upper oven are just a breeze to slide in and out. And it is just amazing when you open the oven door how well it maintains the temperature. I baked a pie in it yesterday and unlike my old oven, the crust did not get overdone. My boyfriend says that if we had a hurricane coming, the first thing I would save is this range. I love it that if we have young guests, there is no way I can see them turning on a burner and burning themselves since it won't work without a pot on it. Lastly, I think I got a great value for my money compared to others I researched.

The range is wonderful to use when it is working.  The range top is the easy ever to clean.  The heat controls are easy to use and it does keep a steady heat no mater what the temperature setting.  I've tried the various oven and convection settings.  The perfect turkey setting was a no go. I went back to my old ways.  The probe used for rare prime rib was over done.  Cookies do bake well.  The two control units that master the wave touch and settings have been replaced after 8 months.

Our new Electrolux was installed 5days before Christmas. Had a problem with the top not laying flush on the new quartz countertop. New top piece is being installed as I write this. Have not used the oven yet, wanted to make sure the top was fixed before using it. My husband, the cook in the family, acan't wait to start using it. It was the one thing he insisted on buying when we started our redo. We have used the cooktop and love how it cooks, especially the quick boiling feature. Looking forward to getting some great meals out of the stove.

We just absolutely love our 30" induction double oven. It is by far exceptional in every way imaginable. I could tell from the packaging as I opened the box that Electrolux was top rate. Induction cooking is the bomb. The only way to cook. Convection ovens are the best and this one has all the bells and whistles, superior racks, and looks to match. You are going to spend a fair amount of money on any double oven and cooktop. Why not buy the best cooking format from one of the best companies. I've never felt remorse buying the best. There are no disappointments with this unit.

I have owned this range for over 6 months and I am still impressed.  The oven racks are like no other rack I have owned. Racks have ball bearings allowing them to glide fully out of the oven smooth and sturdy.  The oven door opens to any desired position unlike other ovens that have one set position.  This oven comes with TRUE convection cooking, compared to other convection ovens, which means a third burner is in front of the fan.  Also you have the option of using a meat probe to monitor your meats as they cook.  Once they reach the desired temp the stove automatically goes into warm mode.  I have only used the lower oven twice but it works fine for small stuff.  If I have to find a complaint it would be that the oven seems to pre-heat a little slow compared to other ovens but there is a rapid pre-heat option that I have not used yet. The range is the most impressive part of the stove.  The wave touch controls are nice once you learn them and you have more features then you will use.  Induction cooking is by far the most precise and fastest way to cook.  Water boils in less then two minutes for a normal pot.  The cooking is precise you can have the water come to a rolling broil and then lower the temp to an exact cooking level that maintains the temp unlike gas oven where you have to constantly monitor the temp.  The range is easy to clean with no knobs to clean around. I have read many reviews on this stove.  Some have complained that the induction range makes whizzing noises.  Yes this is true but they are not loud and in fact compared to gas stoves that give you that whoosh sound it is not bad at all.  Many appliances make sounds like your microwave but you get use to them like you do with your other appliances.  The stove made heat related expansion noises the first couple of times I used it but no longer.  Other reviews have mentioned reliability issues with this stove in 2010 and 2011.  I got the extended warranty but so far not one issue.

This stove is straight out of a science-fiction movie and we couldn’t be happier with the ending. The Electrolux fits perfectly in our 30-inch space. Each side of the cooktop hangs snugly over the counter in case you are confused by the slightly larger width specifications as we were. While we had ample warning that some of our cookware might not work with the new induction cooktop, we still were surprised to find that none of our cookware had the magic induction-ready bottoms, something that is easy enough to check with a magnet. Fortunately, we picked up a compatible Circulon frying pan (not all Circulon pans stick to a magnet either) during Macy’s black Friday sale as we look for a more long-term solution and wait for our free three-piece Chantal cookware to arrive via rebate. We’re eyeing a nice set of induction-ready cookware at Costco for under $200 or a four-piece completer set for the Chantal cookware for $220 on the Chantal website. So far we’ve melted chocolate in our lone frying pan, cooked pasta and made tomato sauce. Water actually does boil when you watch it — at least on this stove — and in a matter of a couple of minutes. Chocolate doesn’t require a double boiler either to melt evenly and stay creamy (a big relief considering our cookware limitation). We keep the cooktop pristine by cooking on top of paper towels (Don’t even ask. It will just blow your mind). So far we’ve made a number of crispy pizzas (we use the Dough-Joe tiles), breads, scrumptious Oreo cheesecakes and chocolate chip cookies in the top oven with equally wonderful results. For good measure, we cooked stuffed mushrooms in the bottom oven while baking a couple of cheesecakes in the top oven on Christmas Eve. The Electrolux has a rapid preheat mode which works really well. In fact we made ourselves hungry writing this review and had to whip up a loaf of crusty French bread to enjoy with our roasted marinated peppers. The oven took about 10 minutes to heat up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit on the convection setting and another 25 minutes of baking time. We really can’t complain about anything so far. We’re still not sure about cooking times so we compensate by keeping an eye on our dishes through the lighted window. We haven’t had to use the cleaning function yet or the thermometer. We’ve been able to clean the oven merely by wiping away crumbs that land on the covered oven floor. Two of the three oven shelves also slide out with some kind of bearing system, which gives the shelves an elegant feel. We would happily recommend this Electrolux to anyone who has a passion for cooking or some extra money to invest in a George-Jetson worthy appliance for the home. It’s definitely an eye-catching piece from the future. Some reviews mentioned problems with the electronic components so we opted to spend an extra $200 or so to expand coverage on our included 10-year warranty from the store. Based on those reviews, we’d suggest doing the same. We’ll keep you posted if any Gremlins pop out of our sleek steel stove in the future. Meanwhile, our soft pretzel dough is about ready to experience the Electrolux. Buon Appetito.

The induction top os phenomenal! I've never seen anything get things to temperature so fast and maintain that temp so consistently. I put on a small pot of soup the other day and set it to Power Boil. I turned to retrieve some crackers from the pantry and by the time I turned back to the stove, the soup was bubbling. Certainly, some of our pots had to be replaced in order to work with the induction system, but we knew that going in and planned for it. Clean up of the stove top is a breeze with warm soapy water.  The ovens are just as great. The sliding racks are very nice. They take a bit of getting used to when baking, but they are really slick. We've used convection bake, normal bake and broil and the ovens have performed extremely well. Having the smaller second oven is very nice when handling larger dinners. The ovens are very well insulated. We baked an apple pie and it needed just a bit more time to finish so we just turned off the oven and left it. I ran out on some errands and my wife got busy with other things. I came back a couple of hours later and found the pie still in the oven. It was done just right, but I needed oven mitts to get it out. Even the racks were still extremely warm. Our advice to new users would be to just take some time to learn the controls. Things are far more simple than some of the reviews we read and didn't take long at all.  Looking forward to many years to come with this one!

I've had this stove for two weeks now and just LOVE it.  I think I have used all the functions and am very pleased.  The only one complaint I have is that when you are finished baking in the oven it seems to take forever for the oven to cool down.  The fan runs for the better part of an hour after, although the fan is not loud (can barely hear it).   Also, make sure after you have it installed make sure the stove is in the unlocked position before trying to use it.  We learned the hard way :)   True what everyone has said, we did have to widen the space in our island to slide the range in, and it does take an extra minute to shine up the cooktop but it is beautiful!

I am very happy with the inductioin burners and the oven.  Super easy to use and fast heating on the burners plus fast preheating in the oven. The cooling fan bearings started to go out and I had it replaced at no charge.  i did buy the extended warranty afterwards though.  Just to be on the safe side. Assuming no more maintanence issues I really love it.  I have an open kitchen with the range on the island.  my guest are all facinated by the controls and the induction cooking.  My  place isn't super big so having the second oven didn't take up any real space and was great to have at thanksgiving plus it makes a great warming drawer.

Be sure to read the instruction manual and keep it handy. There is a lot to learn about using this appliance properly.

As mom to a family of five, I cook multiple times a day every day in addition to preparing and preserving foods from our large garden. I was excited to convert to an induction range for the speed and efficiency it offers. This range has certainly not disappointed. I can scramble eggs in under a minute, boil a pot of water for pasta in under ten, or heat  water for tea in less than half the time it took in our electric kettle. The surface is easy to clean and the touch controls are both futuristic and intuitive to use.  The oven has options I love such as smooth-gliding racks and convection roasting. Having a double oven is handy both for when I'm cooking a lot or when I just want to cook a single tray without heating up the whole oven. The third rack adds even more space.  However, the thing I love most about the Electrolux Induction range is just how cool it looks! Replacing my old stove gave my whole kitchen a face-lift! The perfect blend of beauty, function, and quality!

My range had some problems outside of warrantee and when I told them of the problem they covered the parts and allowed me to get a warrantee extension after it was fixed.  I was thrilled that they backed their product like that, unlike most companies nowadays.  I gave it 4 stars because it did have an issue though. It has been such a wonderful thing to use, especially if you are coming from coils and an electric stove.  I love induction. The burners really do boil water very fast.  It is also pretty.  My cast iron works very well on it.  I don't worry anymore about kids, (naughty cats) and burns.  It is so easy to clean and looks so nice, no more drip pans and cooked on crud, nasty coils, and the occasional coil fire. Just a nice flat surface with a wipe and it is clean. I also love the convection roast, very fast and delicious for this last minute mom and the temperature probe is very helpful (you know the temp without having to open the oven and fog your glasses).  Having the second oven for special occasions is very nice and it is not just a warming drawer, I have done cookies in there! Self cleaning main oven is always great! I cook a lot and this is a nice range to work with for speed (induction power boost, rapid preheat, convection roast convection bake, and and convection broil), a variety of cooking approaches (traditional, convection modes), double (actual) oven flexibility, convenience (perfect turkey, bread proof, defrost buttons), automation(auto turn off/keep warm after probe reaches temp, programmable cooking times), and simple cleaning (flat easy clean top, self cleaning oven). I would buy it again.

I love my electrolux induction range. It is beautiful and is easy to clean. The induction cuts cooking time to make meals quick and efficient. I wish I had known that you can NOT make candy or anything that requires a thermometer with the induction. I make a lot of candy and temperatures need to be exact. The induction throws the thermometer off because of the magnets. I ended up getting a 2 burner gas cook top and that solved the candy issue for me. I wouldn't give up all of the other benefits of the induction because it really is amazing. The sauces taste fabulous. Boiling water for pasta in less than 5 minutes is super cool. The oven is large and the racks are smooth and easy to work. I spend a lot of time cooking & baking and this range really performs at a high end level.

This is our first exposure to induction and convection cooking and we are loving it. We especially like the fact that the burners hardly get hot.  The oven bakes more evenly and the food seems to be much moister. Much easier to clean than the old electric stoves.  I also love the touch screen, no knobs. With the new oven I have the option of regular or convection baking.  We will never go back

After using the range for 15 months it broke down. The induction cooktop won't heat up. Got a error code, now I'm waiting for the repair man. It seems Electrolux didn't design the internals very well. Theres a lot beeping related to the communications between the various control boards in the range. Quite a few errors that cause me to power up and down the range. Finally, the last one made the range quit. The error I got is E 15 on the cook top control side. This is something that should not happen. Some engineer probably didn't provide enough shielding or picked a cheap connector or something and the communications errors kept happening. Some positive things about the range: looks a lot better than the GE Induction range. Lots of features. Most people will probably never use all of the features. Induction works really well, like it better than gas. Wishlist: - Actual temp control for cooktop instead of just 1-10. - Change the layout of the cook top controls by splitting the controls to mimic the location of the actual elements, bunching the controls together is a little confusing. - Route the cooling vent away from the front of the range, getting blasted with cooling air is not fun. venting it to the rear would be a lot better - more relaible control boards. - a starter induction pan with every range would be nice

OK so I finally came to the point in my cooking skill where I was convinced a standard electric smooth top was limiting me. My brother had just bought a Wolf Gas cook top and I wanted to make the switch too. My wife hates gas. She is a baker and has always preferred electric ovens and thinks the range tops are easier to clean. I hated our old one as I thought it was a nightmare to clean and didn't respond like a gas cooktop. After a lot of research and looking at professional ranges and kitchen retrofits we decided induction would be a good compromise. With this 30 inch model, no kitchen retro-fit needed, all electric but responsive as gas. I actually felt like I was making more compromise but couldn't have been more wrong. Almost every weekend when I get the chance to cook I get pleasure from this thing and have probably told my wife 100 times I love this stove, plus it was a good excuse to get new pots too. The boil water feature really works and the ability to pull the temperature back fast is just as good as gas, plus the heat seems more even especially on low. Perfect turkey feature is great too. I am no longer jealous of my brothers Wolf and I paid considerably less. Even my wife loves it admitting it is a huge improvement over our old range. She even commented that it is much easier to clean. Since the burners don't get hot spills don't get brunt on and just wipe right up. I can remember when we had to use any cleaner on it.

We have only had this for a short time so have not had a lot of time for anything to go mechanically wrong yet. So far we have used many features are and very happy with this. I will cover a few things that we like so far. We have cooked for bigger groups already since we got this so we have had time to try out many things. No issue with not enough space on the top. We are a family of 5 so not a small group for daily use. Like some said, the burners can be a bit close. If you have a 12" pan on the front it is a bit hard to get something on the rear burners but remember, that front burner is a 10" - so we were able to overcome that using a 10" fry pan instead on that burner and had room for kettles on the back at the same time. Love the speed in heating pans! 2 cups of cold tap water in a 10" pan on the front burner set to PB - was at a rolling boil in 58 seconds. That is faster than a microwave! I like the smooth clean lines of this appliance. Very "techie" overall. To protect the top when using our Cast Iron pots I put a Silpat on the range and cook right through that. Never will scratch the surface with that technique and it works great! Clean up of spatter from frying is very easy and with the cooler top nothing seems to "burn" on like it did when we had the older glass top model with conventional "under-glass" and halogen model (that was a pain to clean spills). Rapid preheat on the oven does get it to baking temp very fast. Baking with the convection oven was uniform and better than our last convection oven. Racks on ball bearings make pulling out pans and pots (like a large cast iron dutch oven or LeCreuset Darfeu) very easy. Removal of the racks themselves is also easy. The slow cook feature in the oven is also a plus. I get to put the slow cooker away permanently now as I brown the meat in the pot I am going to slow cook it in right on the induction cooktop (in that same pan) - then put it in the slow cook set oven. Works great! Bread proof worked nice on rising the loaves and I even put them in the lower oven to bake them and they also came out nice. My last oven did not bake so good in the lower oven so this open more options. If you want a larger stove compartment you will need the free standing range model as opposed to the slide in version of this appliance. Not an issue for us. One reviewer mentioned the flow of air from the front in operation. I suspect it is a cooling fan for the induction electrics. It is really not a big flow and no big deal, I certainly would not see this as a deal breaker nor even consider it in the purchase. Not an issue for us. This week I am trying the perfect turkey option and excited to see the results! Overall this range is very cool!

I had really high expectations when I selected Electrolux for all my kitchen appliances, and was especially happy to get this induction range. I am most disappointed and frustrated with the placement of the heating elements because I cannot use the front and back at the same time if I am using a large pan on the front. There is room for only a 1 qt size pan... barely... to fit on the back. What extremely poor design! While I love the fast heat setting, I really dislike the strange noises made while the burner is on. I expect it to be soundless, and it is not. Weird crackling noises. My pan is flat, there is no food or anything stuck to the cooktop- it makes the noise from day one. I've used the oven a few times and it seems to work well, but I don't have a firm opinion of it yet. I like having 2 timers easily available. That is a great feature- but I'd give it up in a heartbeat for more room to cook.

I absolutely love this oven! I have 4 kids and it cut my cook time by at least 20 minutes per meal. Boiling water in 90 seconds is awesome! I bought the induction slide in and went through 2 stoves before I got a corrected model. The heat sensor kept overheating and locking up my stove when I set the clean cycle. Be sure and test yours before the warranty runs out. Other than that the stove has been the cadillac of stoves and I love its modern appearance. Getting ready to move and taking this one with me!

The top shows every little flaw, water spots, and dust. For the price, the cook top should not be a problem! They need a quick reverance card on the does and don't taking care of the cook top.

The range is a bit pricy. The oven is a little slow to reach its temperature. Very precise cooking, never burned anything ! Very easy to clean !!! The warmer is a nice feature.

I really looked forward to having this range, and haven't been disappointed. It is a wonderful piece of equipment! It is such a joy to use, I find myself doing more cooking, and making more complicated dishes. I am even doing more cooking at lunch time too. The Induction Cook-top is so well designed, I love it! The flexibility, and ease of use of the controls is just about perfect. The large number of heat settings for each zone are very well thought out, and plentiful. At first I was apprehensive about there not being a small cooking zone up front. However, I have found that when using quality stainless steel cookware, I can use even my 1 and 2 quart sauce pans up front. Size-wise, they are more closely matched to the rear zones, but work just fine on the left side front zone. I have had no major issues with the ovens, but usually use the more sophisticated upper oven for most baking. The oven racks are great. The "elegant" oven lighting can be slightly annoying. I put the light on when baking, and leave it on until I am done. There is a slight learning curve with this range. It is easy to forget to press "Start" to get the oven going. The surface controls on the front and rear zones on the right side can be confusing, until one gets use to the control layout. The attention signal of the timers is pretty quiet, even at the loudest setting. This is all nit pick stuff, non of which has affected my satisfaction with this product. It is top notch! The Range is just beautiful in its design, and makes cooking a joy!

If you're looking for an induction stove, the Electrolux is probably sleekest stove you can buy (in slide-in range configuration). When not in use, the control panel is all black with only the blue digital clock showing. Gently touch the control panel and the control panel chimes and wakes up (stove and oven control buttons light up). Some of the features I love about the range is the luxury glide oven racks (the oven racks are on nice ball bearing like sliders) which allow for easy removal of your entrees. Most ovens just have racks that drag against the sides of the oven. It also comes with a temp probe you can use to cook a turkey, which supposedly will monitor the temp of the turkey while you bake, but I haven't tried it out yet. It also has a power boil feature which boils a quart of water in about 90s. The beauty of induction ranges is the cooktop never gets really hot. If you're not familiar with induction ranges, it works by using by generating heat directly in the cookware directly instead of applying heat with an element or applying heat to it with a flame. It's way more efficient since there is no heat radiating off to the side of the pot/pan, just heat radiating from the pot/pan BACK on to the cooktop. Because the cooktop never gets too hot, spilled food is easy to clean up and there is less chance of burns and fires from an open flame. The only thing I didn't like about the stove was during installation. There didn't seem like an easy way to get the stove off the wood crate. My kitchen is relatively small and there aren't very many places to grab the stove to lift it off the wood crate. Luckily I read the directions before the installers arrived. They wanted to grab the stove around the glass cooktop edges to muscle it off the crate. This range requires a 50 amp cord. Most stores only sell 6' 50 amp range cords. If you buy this stove, I would recommend looking for a 4' 50 amp range cord (saw some online) because 6' (plus the size of the wires for 50 amps) is very stiff. I had some trouble getting the stove pushed up against the wall all the way no matter how much I tried to tie up with zip ties excess wire before pushing it back. Four feet 50 amp cords are a little harder to find so you may have to look around. The back panel where the cord plugs in is flimsy. I'm guessing they don't expect you to open and close the back panel very often. The back panel door which covers the nuts to connect the cord is simply a piece of sheet metal you bend (yes BEND) backwards to expose the nuts. If you bend it back shut and then back open again, it's noticeably looser. One more bend back and forth and it breaks off. So why was I opening and closing it so many times, you ask? See the previous paragraph. I originally bought a 6' cord and had trouble getting the stove up against the wall. So I had to swap out the cord for a shorter one. The hookup was also a little confusing. The diagram on the back shows where they want you to connect the wires, but the instructions show a different spot. I ended up following the directions and ignoring the back panel diagram. Overall, I love this range and it's always fun to impress friends who haven't witnessed induction technology yet. It has all the advantages of gas cooking (instant on/off) and it heats way faster. If your looking for modern and contemporary, or if you're a techie, this is the stove for you.

I bought the range for my wife for Christmas 2010. She was delighted. Within thirty day a fan began to make a horrible noise and got worse each day. I took off work to meet the service man. He had trouble taking the range apart and was not familiar with this particular model. Hadn't taken the webinar. He thought he had found the problem and started to wrap it up. I was there observing his progress and told him I did not think it was the problem fan. He conducted an easy test and agreed if I had not been there he would have ordered the wrong part. I took off another days work and the problem is resolved. I told him it still sounded a little noisier than when the range was new. Should I buy a service contract? Seems like I have no choice!

This stove is amazing! It only takes a minute to boil water and the heat is very even. We had a hard time finding nonstick cookware at first but now we find it everywhere. The only thing that is not perfect about the stove is you can not have 2 burners on the same side on pb (power boost..which is an amazing feature) at the same time but you can still cook on higher setting, which is much better than most stoves. you can still have two burners on pb setting on oppiste sides of the stove top. I am always cooking and this stove works really well from rapidly boiling to keeping chocolate melted on a truly low setting. I WILL NEVER BUY A TRADITIONAL STOVE AGAIN!

Absolutely love this range. It has actually changed the way I cook. While cooking a pasta dinner always started the water to boil and attended to the sauce or other items. Now the water boils to quickly so have to boil the water last! Can't say enough about the stove. The convection oven is great too.

Super stylish and really does boil water in less 90 seconds. From the "Perfect Turkey" button to the space-aged wave touch contoller, I love everything about this range. The cooktop stays cool and is so much easier to keep clean than a regular ceramic top. The extra money paid for this induction range is well out-weighed by the functionality, efficiency and WOW factor! Great product.

We had the best Thanksgivng in 35 years thanks to the Perfect Turkey. I love the clean, fast, responsive cooktop. Better than Gas because I clean it after each use with a water spray and microfiber cloth. I clean it every now and then with the cooktop cleaner and sealer. It always looks great.. Just wish the controls were on the side to make reaching the burners more easily. The stainless rim is hard to keep scrach free. I love my oven racks, smooth and easy to use. I would buy this again.

I have only used the appliance 3 months and am enjoying it, but expense, bulky front control panel and ease of use would probably lead me back to gas the next time, if I live that long. I still prefer the infinite controls of gas. It is easy to clean and attractive in the kitchen. Don't really like the limitation of pots. Am afraid the glass top, already scratched, limits the movement of pans to mix ingredients and will become unsightly within a few years then requiring a very expensive repair. I already, within 2 weeks, had to have the control panel replaced. If you don't have the exact size pot for the burner, it won't cook. For example, you can't heat a small espresso pot. Is there some sort of size adapter available? Just too limiting, expensive and space age for this old lady.

I love the induction Stove and how quick it get water to boil. The only thing that is inconvenient it the width of the front of the stove. It is more than 30 inches which if you had your cabinets installed before you so the spec for the oven the cabinet draws scrape the front side of the stove front.

I can't imagine living without this range. We switched from gas to electric just for this range. It was so easy to learn to use. Everything cooks so quickly. I love to bake and the convection oven is fantastic. Being able to place 3 cookie sheets or multiple cake pans in at once and have them bake evenly has made me so happy. The entire family loves preparing meals now. And it is so easy to clean. All of our friends want one after seeing it operate and hearing us go on and on about how much we love it.

Our Thanksgiving and Christmas turkey came out perfect this year thanks to the Perfect Turkey setting along with the probe. Water boils in 90 seconds due to the Power Boost feature that the cooktop has. This has been one of the best purchases we made for our kitchen. Prior reviews made comment about the coolings fans being loud - we don't even notice the noise (it is extremely minimal). Overall great range.

The range is simply awesome! The induction burners heat the pots and pans instantly and are very responsive. The Broiler is as good as my outdoor grill and the convection oven bakes all dishes evenly and consistently. The control panel is overwhelming at first, but once you learn to use it, the control and precision it offers is incredible. I highly recommend this range!

I loved the look and features of this range. I loved the idea of this range. Unfortunately , I hated this range. In the induction version. It buzzed as soon as I put a pan on it. I did the magnetic test. I bought All Clad. I bought Bobby Flay. I tried Marshall's and TJ Maxx. I tried German and Italian pans. They all buzzed. Needless to say I returned them all. I researched this and there are many complaints that all but cast iron creates that buzzing humm. Cast iron is ridiculously heavy.  Because I was sold on the "perfect turkey feature and 30 second water boil" ( shown to me in electric version ) I purchased it.  Upon delivery of live version of induction I heard the buzzing noise. I called retailer and they offered to replace range. I got the electric version and I love it!!!  Extra burner options not available in induction and all the same features otherwise. Best part is it doesn't sound like a swarm of bees has attacked when I use more than one burner at a time. By the way I have many friends that have induction and barely any noise. Hmmm??  Could it just be the brand ? One other important note to anyone just switching out a range for induction. It requires 50 amp to run properly whereas most stoves need only 40 so check your amperage or it will buzz for sure. And ask for the plug if not, they don't supply it automatically.  Stick to tried and true electric. I can wait 8 min for pasta water !!

This is a beautiful range. It was difficult to get and after waiting for almost 2 months, I settled on a slightly scratched floor model. I love the design and clean lines of this stove. The electronic controls are easy to use. The induction cook top works with the same ease of temperature control as a gas cooktop. It is far more efficient than my previous electric range. The oven is very well insulated, and holds its temperature long after it is shut off.

We love the look of the oven and the sleek design. The controls are modern and look great. There is no doubt for us that induction and convection are the way to go. The lower oven / warming tray is handy. The oven has a quality feel to it. That being said the oven failed to heat intermittently and finally one of the boards in the control panel had to be replaced. This was done speedily and well, under warranty. We have not had a chance to use the oven much since the replacement but we assume all is now well and we will go back to loving our oven. We are happy we bought the oven and look forward to many years of use from it.

I love our new induction range. We put an oven liner on the stove top when we cook to protect the glass. With induction this is possible and very cool.  Also, liquid boil super fast. The digital controls are intuitive and easy. The ovens cook food as expected and the racks slide nicely.  Overall, it's a beautiful, sleek, functional piece of art in our kitchen.

This induction range replaced one exactly like it. The first range worked perfectly for three years and then the cooktop died. It was too costly to repair so Federal Warranty opted to replace it. Of course, they did not give me what it cost to replace and install. Unfortunately, there are few options for a slide-in induction range.

We love the new range. At first we thought it was a bit pricey and we were a bit skeptical about the performance. We had a drop in electric and were looking to get a dual fuel slide in range. On recommendation of the salesman at Hutchins appliance in Hillsboro Oregon, we opted for the Wave touch. The install was more difficult than I thought it would be because of counter height issues. It would have fit perfect in the space, but I had installed a wood laminate floor. The floor made the range sit too high in the opening. I cut the floor out below the range and it fit fine. BUT .... the bottom oven drawer was scraping on the laminate. So, I had to raise the range to clear the floor. If I had linoleum or another type of thin flooring it would have been perfect. I also opted to replace my 10 gauge aluminum wiring with 8 gauge copper so that took a bit more effort. In the long run we are very pleased. The cooktop is great and the heat raises and lowers IMMEDIATELY - as fast or faster than gas. It was a great investment and we are looking forward to the holiday cooking season! We love it! I can't tell you how much I love induction!!  The temperatures are so consistent for reducing sauces and soups.  I can boil water in 90 seconds, too!  The "perfect turkey" setting is awesome!!  Saved Thanksgiving last year and will probably save it again this year.  I paired this range with the convection microwave and couldn't be happier!  I have 3 ovens because the drawer that is normally storage is a baking drawer!!  I can't thank the nice people enough at Hudson Appliance in Massachusetts.  I think the salesman's name was John or Jeff.  I also purchased the new dishwasher that has the wave-touch.  This dishwasher is very quiet and has a 3rd rack on the top of it for my silverware.  What a great idea!  They have a fabulous showroom as well.  I can't wait to get the refrigerator next!  PS  I also own the 70 series washer and dryer and couldn't be happier with them!

The oven on this range is great and overall it's pretty. However, the induction cooktop is faulty. We are awaken in the middle of the night by a beeping E15 error message way to frequently. This our second Electrolux induction range, the first one flamed out after 6 months (E15 issues).  Three different repairmen were unable to fix it. After much complaining and some threats Electrolux did send a new Range. 3 years later we are out of warranty and are repeatedly get the E15 error message. Think twice before purchasing this range, personally I'd like to take a sludge hammer to mine. Never again will we buy an Electrolux appliance and will not recommend it to a friend or enemy.
