Despite some unflattering reviews, we purchased the range because overall it was the best balance of style, function and price that we could find. Our contractor installed it with relative ease. The first time I tried to use it the large front burner would give me an error message. I felt sure I was doing something wrong like incorrect pan size, hitting wrong button etc. I knew it wasn't the pans themselves because we bought those new as well. Surely, it couldn't be the range itself because it was brand spanking new!!!! I hadn't had a first meal on it yet! After a frustrating first night, I contacting Electrolux. The support staff was courteous and told me quickly that I had an internal generator problem. Great.,?!?! He referred me to an authorized dealer that I contacted in am. Once out he diagnosed end the problem the same way and said he would have to order part. The office called me to say it was back ordered for months!!! She encouraged me to call back to Electrolux and explain my issue. She said Electolux stands by their products and would not want me to have to wait that long. I contacted customer service and explained my great frustration as several weeks have gone by now. She was sympathetic to my plight. She found a part somewhere else in US and had it shipped to me next week. Conclusion..it works great now. I love the sleekness. It is easy to clean. Food heats up and in done in no time-- including awesome oven. So rough start happy ending.
