Standard-Depth French Door Refrigerator with IQ-Touch™ Controls

We moved into a new house and needed to get a fridge to fit our new kitchen. We wanted a french door fridge with water and ice in the door, one that had a larger ice tray than most of the french door units that we saw out there. The Electrolux unit fit all that and we got a great deal on it. The down side of the new fridge is the rate that it makes ice and the almost warm water the it delivers from the door.

Positive: Freezer works well. Refrigerator does what it is supposed to do--keep food cold. I like the double doors at top. It makes it very easy to find food. I thought a freezer drawer below would be a negative, but it has been no problem. In fact, it is easier to find food in the freezer. The ice maker had to be repaired right away after we got it. The water tubing runs outside of the fridge so you cannot get chilled water. The tubing becomes creased and limits the flow of water. It is so easy to get the food out ouf the freezer. Easy and convenient. Filters are easy to install. Reminders are great, letting you know when you must change them. In door adjustable shelves are really handy for tall containers. It is difficult to obtain replacement combinations of the water and air filters.
