8.0 Cu. Ft. Electric Front Load Dryer with IQ-Touch™ Controls

We purchased our Electrolux washer and dryer on January 26, 2011 and thoroughly enjoy using these appliances. The large size of these appliances is wonderful, and, after having a dryer that would only dry one sheet at a time, I was thrilled over this one. I also like the idea of the pedestal drawers which make it easier to get to the laundry (and not have to bend over so far). The IQ pushbuttons are a nice feature.

My husband and I recently added twin boys to our crew, bringing the total to in our household to seven. We could no longer keep up with the laundry. This dryer and the matching washer turned laundry mountain into a molehill in no time. I can fit in one load in this washer/dryer combo the equivalent of three loads in my other washer/dryer set. Electrolux is the BEST washer I have ever owned. The best of this washer is reversible door (I did it in half hour). The washer is so quiet; I have to touch it to know it is working. The vibration control is unbelievable!! Colors stay sharp and my whites stay bright, as the washer is very gentle on my clothes but gets them very clean (I even can see the result on dog's toy). I would highly recommend this machine

I really like the dryer and wasn't needing lots of fancy features. It works well and we got it to have a match for the washer. I am not sure that the sensor is working properly because when I use damp alert the clothes are mostly dry and in general, the clothes seem to be dry well before the time remaining. It is still under warranty so I am watching it. One thing that is good, is it does seem to evenly dry

This is the best dryer EVER!!! Comforters, towels, huge loads of clothers, whaterver I throw in it.....it gets dry! This dryer is huge. I have cut 8 loads of laundry per week down to 5! The controls are easy to use- very intuitive. I love the push to open door- I can carry in a basket full of clothes, tap the door with my knee, and ta da...the door swings open and in go the clothes!!! The favorite button is

We bought a new Electrolux washer & dryer last fall as part of a remodel project. A good part of the reason we decided on these models was they were the only ones on the market that had a recess all across the back of the dryer to accommodate the dryer hose and the doors on both units could be configured to open either left or right. Both appliances work quite well and the washer is very quiet when operating.

Greatest addition to our household. If you set the controls correctly you can start it and walk away, if your clothes get dry before the time is up, it will cut off and not waste electricity. It also drys faster and larger loads. Less time running. less time doing laundry equals more family time! The only draw back is you really need the pedestal, you almost have to sit in the floor to do laundry. For $200.00
