• Electrolux is the only major household appliances company included in the most recent Dow Jones Sustainability World Index. 
   
• As part of its company-wide “Green Spirit” initiative, Electrolux is committed to improving the energy efficiency of its operations by reducing total energy use 15% by the end of 2009. 
   
• Through packaging improvements, Electrolux has been able to increase the number of units it can put on a truck and significantly reduce the impact of transporting its product from factory to retail distribution centers. In the case of dishwashers, this amounts to about one third fewer truckloads.
