I totally love this Electrolux washer.  It is easy to operate, quiet, and the steam feature is fantastic.  I really didn't care about the steam feature when I purchased the washer.  But, I use it all the time!  There are settings that cover whatever type of laundry you are doing.  I am really happy with the washer performance.

We've had this washer now for 4+ years and it works very well. We don't use all of the features, but wash lots of clothes with it. As long as we leave the front door of the washer open for a day or so after we use it, we have no issue musty smells common to front load washer. The self clean / sanitation features also works very well.

I have never been more pleased with a front load washer than I am with my Electrolux front load washer.  It is not only so easy to use, but it is extremely eco friendly.  I cannot say enough about it, other than to buy anything else would be a step down from one of the best washers on the market, hands down.

I have to admit, there is really nothing glamorous about a new washer and dryer. I wasn’t excited to buy a new one when my old one went out. I do have to say I must be getting older as I was excited once they were delivered and I started to use them. I read a ton of reviews prior to purchasing these. A couple things that I read didn’t really jump out at me until I started to use the feature or hear from friends how they didn’t like that their washer spun right off the pedestal. A couple of the features that I would highly recommend is the steam option is the best. There are several mornings that we want to wear something that is wrinkled, as we forgot to iron. No problem at all when you set the touch up with steam turned on and it is ready in 10-15 minutes. The steam used on the standard wash seams to make the clothes so soft – I can say I don’t even use liquid fabric softener anymore and I used to add to every load. The other option that I love is the being able to adjust the spin level. In most cases I have it set on medium and does a great job. As I have stated that friends that had other brands couldn’t adjust the spin level and it literally spun right off of the pedestal. I did clean some rugs the other day and set to heavy duty and turned up the spin cycle and there was very little moisture left in the rug when removed. And no it didn’t spin of the stand. However I didn’t purchase the stand with it, my husband built me an awesome one that holds the laundry baskets underneath it. Truly amazing, I kind of like doing laundry now, the laundry room doesn’t stack up with 8-10 loads as it had in the past - LOVE

This is the first front-load washer I have owned in several years and the first Electrolux appliance I have owned. The washer/dryer set was on a promotion at a local independent retailer and was highly recommended by the sales agent, so we decided to give it a try. So far, after using it for 8 weeks, i have been very please with the performance. It is easy to use, seems to be intuitive and even my tween kids can load their own laundry. It seems to clean well, especially if I pretreat stains. I am especially impressed with the high spin cycle and how dry the clothes are before putting them in the dryer. It saves a lot of time and therefore $.

I absolutely love the washer. My husband and I researched and researched and chose this set.  I had a Maytag very expensive set and hated it.   this washer does a fabulous job in less time with less water, doesn't vibrate my whole house.  Are there little things that I don't like.  Yes  ,  small issues,  having to wipe out the door seal after using the washer but it's a small issue compared to my old washer walking across the floor.  It's quiet, quick and holds tons of lanundry.

Never had realized that Electrolux made washing machines.  But on the advice of a repairman, we bought our new Electrolux washer.  The laundry comes out clean; the machine is quiet; I do like the touch-opening doors.  We've had it about a month and I've yet to use the steam feature.  The dials are easy to use.  The large pedestal drawer storage is great!  We got it from Sunrise Appliances in Hickory, NC, who were able to bring it on short notice, before we needed to do laundry before traveling.  We're pleased it with.

I BELIEVE IN MARCH 2014 THE DOOR THAT THE DETERGENT IS PUT IN WOULD NOT OPEN-- WE CALLED ELECTROLUX AND THEY SAID WE WERE STILL COVERED UNDER THE 1-YEAR WARRANTY AND THEY ARRANGE FOR A SERVICE CALL TO FIX THE PROBLEM THE SERVICE CALL WAS DONE WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED AT NO COST TO US. THIS WAS EXCELLENT SERVICE AND WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ELECTROLUX APPLIANCE WHEN THE NEED ARISES. THANK YOU HERBERT SNYDER

This is a large capacity washer - which is necessary for my busy family.  I usually have 2-3 washes per day, or sometimes I may save them up and do laundry only 3-4 times a week. Either way - that's is a lot of laundry!  This washer replaced another brand that I was unhappy with and refused to purchase again. (It was an LG if anyone is interested to know.) I never felt like the clothes were fresh and clean with that washer - but not so with this Electrolux! I have lots of heavy loads with towels, comforters, sports uniforms, etc. and this washer does not disappoint. Took me about a week to get to know all of the new settings, to see what worked for different kinds of loads (i.e. the temperature, how long a cycle, how much of a spin, etc.) but now I am very pleased with the ease of use and especially how clean my clothes are!

My wife and I are very pleased with our Electrolux 4.2 cu. ft. front load washer. It performs well, is quiet, handles all sizes of loads we give it and gets everything clean. We purchased the washer and companion Electrolux dryer for our new home -- we recently downsized, now that it is just the two of us. When the washer was delivered, installed and tested, it had a serious leak about midway through the cycle. I contacted Electrolux, and Customer Service was very prompt and professional in arranging a warranty service call. The leaking part was identified, ordered, and within two weeks the new part was installed. The washer has worked fine since then. fortunately, all of this happened before my wife and I moved into our home, so we didn't have to be without a washer for two weeks. All is well that ends well, and we are pleased with our Electrolux washer and dryer.

I PURCHSED THIS WASHER FROM THE DEALER IGREENFIELD, MA 01301..... I HAD PURCHASED THE FRIDGIDAIRE INFINITY PRIOR TO THIS ALONG WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ( 5 YEAR)......ON THE SIXTH YEAR IT BROKE DOWN......THUS THE WARRANTY WAS USELESS AND THUS I PURCHASED THIS ELECTROLUX MODEL SHOWN ABOVE. LUCKILY I HAVE IT IN MY HEATED BASEMENT AS THE NOISE IT PRODUCES IS VERY ANNOYING. I ALSO PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY.. HOPEFULLY THIS WASHER WITH SERVIVE MORE THAN FIVE YEARS. WHAT I MISS ON THIS MODEL VERSUS THE INFINITY IS THE HOT WASH/WARM RINSE CYCLE..........I.E. EITHER I MUST CHOOSE THE HOT/COLD....... OR WARM/WARM. AN EXCELLENT FEATURE IS THAT ICAN PUT IN A DOUBLE SIZE SLEEPING BAG AND IT WILL WASH IT BEAUTIFULLY. IT IS FAR BETTER BUILT THAN THE AFFINITY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WASHER MODEL TO ANYONE THAT WOULDN'T MIND HEARING THE NOISE IT MAKES AS IT WILL HANDLE A HUGE LOAD OF CLOTHING IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THE TWO MEN THAT DELIVERED IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN TIME TO LEVEL THE WASHER. AS A RESULT I HAD TO DO SO WITH THE WRENCH THAT WAS SUPPLIED AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THE WRENCHE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGING WOULD FIT THE LEVELING "FEET" (4)..SINCE THIS WRENCH DID NOT, I HAD TO FIND A WRENCH AT HOME DEPOT THAT WAS THIN ENOUGH TO DO THE JOB. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, THIS WASHER DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB.

It took me a long time to decide whether to purchase a front loader as opposed to a top loader with an agitator. Overall this washer works fine but there are a couple of things that I am not happy with. The compartment that holds the detergent and fabric softener doesn't always empty out on every cycle. Sometimes after running a cycle I will open it up to do the next load and realize that there is still detergent, fabric softener, and water left in the compartment. It doesn't happen every time which is strange so I can't figure out what the problem is. The other issue that I have is my husband works is a smoking environment and when I wash his clothes it doesn't get the smell of smoke out of the clothes. (My old washer did)

Washer is less than five years old and i saw smoke coming out of the tub!!!  Called Electrolux to get a recommend repair company.  Found nothing wrong with it, except for a torn bellows on the first trip out.  On the second trip out he installed the new bellows and realized the entire inner workings of the unit had shifted.  Turns out the smoke was from rubbing.  Bottom line was that i needed a $750 repair.  In the market for a new washer now.

My washer went out after 15 years. I started doing my homework and listening to everyones opinions of their own washers. My cousin said she bought a new washer but she didn't like it because you couldn't soak clothes in it. It was a Water Saver. I thought I would look for an old style washer. I saw this Electrolux in at Lows in clearance because it was the last one of that style in the store. I looked at all the others and kept going back to this one. It looked so nice and made well and solid. The salesman said they get your clothes cleaner than the old type, top or front loaders so I took him at his word and bought it. I feel it gets my clothes clean but uses very little water. It doesn't make much noise, just tink, tink, tink. and in a while my clothes are finished. I have to keep peeking in the window because I'm not sure if it is on. If my 40 year old drying ever goes out, I think I will look for an Electrolux Dryer to go with my new washer. I'm pretty proud of it! Ellen Schulte

I bought the washer on my own and I cannot say enough about the professionalism and expert service I received at Howard's.  My wife and I are both retired now and have had several brand name washers over the years.  None compare with the Electrolux's IQ controls, it is very user friendly.  We are really impressed with the quality and technology integrated in this washer.  It is amazingly very quiet and efficient.  We immediately noticed just how much drier the clothes are after the spin dry cycle.  We are totally satisfied with our washer and have recommended it to all of our family and friends.

It is quiet!! purchased the set at sears and had a problem with the drawer under the dryer immediately after installation. sears would not fix the problem and advised that I contact Electrolux which I did. this did get fixed, but I will not buy from them again. I had purchased several applicances from them over the years. I do like the features on the machine also. It has a nice large capacity which does come in handy.

With FOUR adults in this household, we are always using the washing machine and dryer. I love the front load and my mother likes not having to bend down to reach (we purchased the pedestals). It does everything it says it does and then some! This past summer after working in the yard, the steam option really came in handy for the small drops of sap that showed up on my jeans.

I have had this washer for about two months now, and it has done a great job washing just about every type of clothing article. I love the deep clean setting that sanitizes anything washed during that cycle; use that cycle for all bedding, towels, and underwear. It has been wonderful with removing that musty smell that forms on washcloths or towels that have been kept wet for too long before washing! I have found 3 minor problems: 1) certain types of fabrics (satins, some shiny polyesters) turn a shade darker when I wash them using the sanitizing cycle (trim on girls tank tops, bras, etc.), 2) I often choose to add the "extra spin" setting so that my items ttake less time to dry in the clothes dryer, and 3) the machine isn't really capable of spinning things that are bulky AND hold onto a lot of water during the cycle. For example, I was able to wash one king sized microfiber blanket, but not two microfiber blankets at the same time. Both blankets easily fit into the washing machine without forcing them in, but the type of material holds onto sooooo much water that the machine was unable to spin the water out of the blankets. I had to remove one of the two blankets in order to finish the spin cycle. I also had a similar problem when washing throw pillows from my couch.

Our ancient, mid-90s era dryer finally broke down and my husband wanted to replace it with a used $100 special from the second-hand appliance guy down the road.  I had other ideas, however. I suggested to him that we really needed to make an investment in a new, top-of-the-line machine and listed several strong reasons why it would benefit our family.  He seemed unconvinced until I also mentioned that if I had a new, high-capacity washer and dryer I would be less tired at night...  fewer headaches, and so forth.  It took a moment, but eventually he got my not-so-subtle hints and then he was very enthusiastic about upgrading. After a good bit of shopping, we decided that this Electrolux washer/dryer pair would meet our needs quite well.  From the very first load I have been impressed with their quiet operation, ease of use, and high capacity.  I do fewer loads in less time with better results than ever before. So I am now far less tired in the evening, and my husband is a happy man.

We had high hopes after the purchase of this unit, but we have had nothing but problems between months 6 and 12 of owning the unit.  Fortunately the problems were easily fixed, but the fact is the unit needed repaired, when the 10+ year old predecessor model from a different vendor worked very well without need of repair until the unit was cost prohibitive to repair. If you can, buy the extended warranty as it will pay for itself.  We are certain that we will be using it again later this year.

We got this machine because of the 2-story guarantee that it would not walk. We do not have a 2-story home but our previous machine, a Kenmore, wanted to dance all over the floor. We were quite leery in purchasing a new front loader but this seemed to fit the bill with the guarantee and all. From the moment it was installed until now, one year later, it has not moved in our laundry room and has made my wife very happy, and in turn has made me happy too. Our previous machine also sounded like a 747 was coming through our home as the laundry room would just shake the room during the spin cycle. She also likes the chimes alerting her to when the wash/spin cycle is complete. My wife loves many of the features and is quite satisfied with how clean the clothes are now. Apparently our other machine did not do a very good job. Clean clothes and a shake-free home, what else could on want. However, there are two small issues with the machine, the door does not close as easily as we think it should and the door mostly stays open in the full-open position rather than ajar to help dry out the machine in between uses. At times it takes my wife several attempts to close the door so it latches properly. It could just be her. Other than that my wife is a happy camper which makes my life so much easier.

I have been very pleased with my Electrolux 4.2 Cu Ft Front Load Washer. It is so quite I can not tell that it is running unless I am standing in front of it. Even the spin cycle is not annoying. I purchased the pedestal and really enjoy not having to bend over to get my wash out. I have used the deep clean sanitize setting several times with my towels because they are sometimes used to soak up water spilled on bathroom floors. I really like this setting however it does take a long cycle time. I have been very pleased with the cleaning of my clothes and the fact that most of the water is spun out leaving the clothes barely damp which cuts down on my drying time. Most of the time I use the short cycle to wash which takes only 18 minutes. None of my family work at jobs that get their clothes soiled. The normal cycle takes about 50 minutes. The washer is very easy to use and the variety of wash cycles available is amazing. I like the convenience of being able to put in my soap, bleach and fabric softener in all the same time. I love the light in the washer so I can see easily any clothes I might have missed transferring to my dryer. The dials are easy to read and everything is readily identified. I like the compactness of the unit. I was worried it might not fit under my cabinets with the pedestal but I had one inch to spare. The only think I would like different is a louder alarm to notify me when the cycle is complete.

Washer has a complete set of automated features for various washing conditions. Of particular use is the extra rinse cycle since these types of washers use HE detergent which is highly concentrated with minimal water levels. Soap build up is a real possibility on the outer drum where mold can take hold. So, we use the clean cycle as recommended on a monthly basis. Our last front loader had to be discarded once mold established itself. However, Electrolux could have done us all a favor in their design and designed a much easier sequence to get the washer into the clean cycle. Currently you have to wake the washer, select hand wash cycle, start and then cancel the cycle. Wake the washer again, hold 2 buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the wash indicates it is now in clean cycle. Not an easy sequence to commit to memory.

Our family of four with two toddlers keeps this washer working several times a week. I like being able to modify so many of the features of the wash - from length of spinning, to how dirty the clothes are (in addition to the traditional temps and number of washes and rinses). My husband uses the hottest setting on his scrubs. I also appreciate being able to set some favorites for those loads we're doing all the time. I wash cloth diapers, which does take two full wash cycles (one without detergent followed by one with detergent) to get the diapers smelling decent. From what I've read, that's pretty standard for cloth diapers in a front-loader. So far (Jul-Jan), no gross residue buildup or smell in the machine from washing poopy diapers once a week. I figure that speaks to how well the washer gets rid of the waste from the load. In general, we're pretty satisfied with our washer.

I purchased this washer in April, 2012. When it works, it's great, but we've had no end of problems with it. We needed perhaps six repair calls for our first unit to correct a "water not draining error" that stemmed, we learned, either from a faulty sensor, a faulty pump, or a faulty mother board. We eventually got a replacement washer, which we appreciated, but even this has given us electronics-related issues, requiring the replacement of (yet another) circuit board. We have a fingers crossed that this one lasts . . .

Despite having the machine leveled and balanced, at times this machine shakes, rattles and rolls during spin cycles and is very loud. also, the door must remain open to avoid the chamber from smelling. this wouldn't be a problem if i could just open it a few inches. but it opens all the way out and is in the way. sorry i purchased it. i should never have gotten rid of my maytag. big mistake.

This high end washer (and matching dryer) was recommended by the owner of the appliance store. Both the washer and dryer have doors that often won't close even after two or three attempts. The tray for the liquid detergent sometimes is filled with water which has to be dumped before proceeding with the next load. There are lots of combinations of washing and drying. However, if you want to use the steam feature, trust me, there are only a couple settings that are available. When we have used the steam setting, there has been no noticeable difference in softeness or wrinkle release. Because this is a front end washer, it is important to keep the door open. However, unlike the last front end washer we owned, the door on this one swings open 90 degrees. It is impossible to have it open a few inches. The vibration level is at a minimum for most clothing items. However, if you put sheets and towels together in a load, there is very much vibration noise. It does use less energy and water and the capacity is enormous. But otherwise, this is less than a stellar product.

Stainless steel tub, lots of interior lighting, steam to freshen, lots of different cycle combinations, detergent cup can be removed for powder detergent, door is easy to open, heats my water if it isn't hot enough, uses less water, extra rinse cycle, takes king size linens easily and it gets them clean, the front panel's button are lit and easy to read, separate tub sanitizing cycle, delay cycle and it's quiet. It doesn't have a separate rinse cycle, so use extra rinse. Use the fast wash cycle as I do sometimes to clean out my tub of grit or dog hair. I REPEAT, TAKES KING SIZE LINENS EASILY. I've washed 2 king sized blankets at one time and YES they came out clean! Gets my King size comforter clean, add steam to sanitize if needed. I can't think of any reason why I don't love my washer, except it won't load my dryer. ;) I didn't have mine put on a pedestal because I'm short.

Worked fine for the 1st year but then shows more and more often a "no water" error which stops the program. Restarting the program allows to run through, so no water wasn';t really the issue. Also misses to flush the softener more and more often. It's out of warranty, so we just live with it until it gets replaced at the first major breakdown.

We purchased this washer in March 2011 to replace a worn out - still working top loader. My main reason for a new washer was to be able to fit a queen size comforter. We initially did not consider a front loader but after doing extensive research online, decided on a front loader. Electrolux won out over other brands because of reversible front door option. For my laundry room I needed right hinge - open to the left side. Anyway , I absolutely love love love this washer. It holds large loads, has many cycle options, saves water even if using the extra rinse option. Everything I have washed comes out clean especially the whites, and it also looks great. I do less loads because it holds so much. I'm also glad that we splurged on the pedestal even though it was a bit overpriced. Best washing machine I ever owned.

We purchased this set just a few months ago and it is the best investment we have ever made. We have a large house hold and I am able to keep up with the laundry without being a saturday slave to clothes. What impressed me the most was when I first got it, my son, who works for the rail road, needed his clothes cleaned. I have never been able to remove the dirt and grease that his clothes have until now. When I pulled the laundry out, I called over my son and husband to show them the amazing job the washer did. This may not have had the men in my life excited, but it has sold me. I will never own another machine! it is so worth every penny we paid. (also, the pedestal is roomy and stores all my laundry cleaners with no problems.)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this machine. I am a nurse, so I LOVE the sanitizing cycle for my scrubs. I know they are getting clean, and the germs are being killed. This means, the rest of my family's laundry is safe. I love the large capacity. It can get so much laundry done at once that I need my husband to add more laundry lines outside:-) I do not have to go to the laundry mat to wash comforters, and it sucks so much water out of the clothes and bedding that it has cut down dryer time significantly. This washer is so easy to use and maintain; it also gives users a message to run the cleaning cycle after so many cycles to keep the washer working its best. Two tips though: keep the soap tray open when not in use. Also, keep the door open when not in use to let the inside dry out. Also, when your last load is complete. wipe off the gray rubber inside to avoid getting a brown stain on it. These are such simple things to do to keep this phenomenal washer looking and running great!

I couldn't live without steam now. I am so spoiled with the iQ touch. It is very easy to use. It is the only washer I know that really gets your clothes wet enough and really washes everything thoroughly. I tried another brand and sent it back and am so happy with my Electrolux. It is large enough for large bedding and has quick cycles for smaller loads. Don't think twice, this is the ONLY washer to consider.

We bought the washer and matching dryer about 6 months ago, and they have been working fine since day one. No problems with musty smell or oder. The washer has an auto sanitize cycle. An important feature is the reversible door on the washer. Electrolux is the only brand that offers this. Our setup calls for the washer on the right. I like everything about the Electrolux washer. It doesn't use a lot of water, energy, the clothes is clean. I jsut wanted to point that when the wash cycle is done, the door inside is wet. It doesn't dry itself, to I have to use the paper towel to dry the class door inside.

Washer and dryer about 6 months old now. Have had no problems. The machines are very quiet, especially the washer. I like the auto self clean cycle. No problems with mold or smell. Machines placed on sturdy home made stands. No vibration and easy on the back to load and unload. This is the only brand that offers a reversable door on the washer. This is an important feature because the washer has to be to the right of the dryer in our laundry room. By reversing the doors, they now swing correctly so moving clothes from washer to dryer is a snap.

We have been using our new Electrolux IQ Touch steam washer and dryer for about 8 months now. The washer machine and dryer have all kinds of custom options for any load of laundry you can throw at it. The large capacity is great for washing bedding. The washing machine is so much quieter than our old set, you barely will notice it running. Great applicances!

There is always  a great deal of moisture in the machine after I wash.  Because of this I now leave the door open many hours after doing a load of laundry. I also dry and leave open the compartment for the detergent because there is a lot of water there too.

I went into the store saying I'd never buy a front load washer but I was wrong. I absolutely love it. The fact that I can stack my dryer on it was a huge plus since I have limited room in my laundry room. It is extremely easy to use and has so many options. I love the sanitize cycle for my bedding and towels.

I really enjoy using my new washer. The clothes come out much cleaner than with my old washer and with less wear, compared to the old top loader with the agitator. The display is attractive and the end-of-cycle chime is much more pleasant than the old buzzer. I think those little details are important - the chimes, the blue lights in the displays, it all comes together very nicely with the quality of the machine as a whole.

We looked at alot of reviews online, considered top-load vs. front-load, and are very pleased with our purchase. While we don't nearly use every bell & whistle (including the steam, have tried it twice & can't really tell the difference, byt it was a free upgrade when we bought this unit), the clothes come out clean, much dryer than the old style washer, and this unit is SUPER quiet - even on the crazy-fast spin cycle. Other reviews noted some soap scum left on clothers, which has never happened to us as we only us HE-rated liquids and follow the simple instructions included with the unit. Also, we did purchase the Tide brand unit cleaner & have used it once in the 3 months we have had this unit, and no funky odors have developed. We also do leave the door open until all the moisture is gone.  CON - the door could latch a little more easily, but that is our only real "complaint".

I'm very pleased with my new washing machine, however, it does have a few issues which I'd like to mention. Cons 1. Water remains in the bleach dispenser after the wash cycle is done. 2. Door opens too easily by my dog's tail wagging. 3. Unable to leave the door ajar to air out after wash load is removed. Door must be completely open. This obstructs the walkway in my laundry room. 4. Signal is much too quiet and much too short. Would prefer adjustable volume and length. 5. Wish the display would stay lit until the door is opened after the cycle. I realize it turns off to save energy, however, I do forget that I have a load inside because of this feature. Pros 1. First washing machine I've had that has a lighted interior. This is a wonderful feature! 2. Extremely quiet and efficient. 3. Added steam feature is beneficial when wanting to sanitize as well as the sanitize feature. 4. Enormous drum accomodates large quilts and comforters with ease. 5. Large opening is easy to load.

Last week my washer wasn't working right. The door would close and latch enough to run a timed cycle, but not enough for the drum to engage for operation. I could not get the door open.  After unplugging the machine and presumably resetting the system I was able to get the door open.  When looking closer, I saw that the door was sagging and the catch was dragging on the latch mechanism.  I looked at the hinge assembly and saw that some of the screws were loose.  Once I tightened all of the screws the door was hanging correctly and the machine started working normally again.  The screws may have loosened up over time or they may not have been tight enough in the first place. I plan on checking the screws and hinge assembly on an annual basis from now on.

I read a LOT of reviews on a variety of brands and models of washers and selected the Electrolux EIFLS55IIW. We have had it for 2 months now. I waited to write a review to have some experience with it first. I went from an old school top loader to this top of the line front loader. I must say I'm still amazed at how little water it takes to get the clothes clean. The steam setting is amazing! Although it takes a long time to do a load, my duvet hasn't seen that level of brightness in years. Old stains even released. You can opt for a shorter load. I'm not disappointed in the various laundry settings at all. The clothes come out very dry form an excellent spin cycle (although our old machine didn't set the bar high). My only minor complaint is that my feminine undergarments came out a bit shredded at the elastic seams.  I have recently purchased a delicates bag so they don't take the brunt of it. Overall I am happy with this selection and the reviews I read by other buyers aided my purchasing decision thus my willingness to write and submit a review for others.

My wife and I recently moved to a new house from a condo.  We needed a new washer and a dryer.  After looking at many different washing machines including an all in one similar to to those used in Europe. We decided on a side by side washer and dryer from Electrolux.  A trusted brand with a reputation of great quality.   We are so pleased with this machine.  There are so many washing settings dependent on cleaning needs, and it is very user friendly despite what some reviews state.  The machine is easy to maintain and uses very little water and soap.  The machine is also very quiet.  This machine is very sleek with a simple user interface. We opted for the bottom drawer to raise the machine off the ground.  I highly recommend the drawer as it becomes more user friendly eliminating the need to bend over.   Our clothes and linens have never felt better against our skin.  We are very pleased with our purchase.

We've been using this washer for about a month now.  So far, all has been good--it's fairly quick and quiet, and the clothes come out clean.  The fact that it is one of the few (if not only) washer with a reversible door was a major selling point--it allowed us to customize the door opening to our laundry area. My only gripe (and this may simply be with all modern front-load washers) is how incredibly HEAVY this thing is.  We have a tight laundry area, and the guys who installed it found it very hard to work with.

I am a very thorough researcher when it comes to making a major purchase. After reading and reading, I narrowed my choice down to the Electrolux and we are extremely pleased with our decision. One of the major tipping points in our decision making was the fact that the Electrolux has the option to switch the front door! Our dryer is on the left side, so having the ability to switch the door on the washing machine was imperative. We like how well it cleans our clothes and being on city water we appreciate it's ability to regulate water usage.

Love my new washer and dryer, needed to replace a old dryer, and because my set was very old we decided to replace both.  The salesman was a big help in finding out my laundry needs and helping me to look at several options. When we looked at the Electrolux there was no comparison, Electrolux quality and features are outstanding. He also told me that most of the salespeople at the store had the same model we were looking at. I have had other Electrolux appliances and found them to be very reliable so we were very happy to find a great duo to take care of our laundry needs. Thank you for producing a great product line.
