Saturday Morning Peanut Butter Banana Blender Muffins

Peanut Butter Banana MuffinsWeekends are for family and relaxation – I always try to plan my weekends around these two important factors. These days the weekdays are full to the brim with work, school, sports, piano lessons, after-school classes, meetings and much more, we meet each other in passing on our way to the next activity and rarely seem to have more than minutes here and there for each other.

This is why our weekends are sacred, they're two days out of the week when we spend time together –starting with breakfast on Saturday morning and ending with watching football on Sunday afternoon. We all look forward to this time to relax, unwind and reconnect with each other. We make each other a priority and do our best to stick to this every single weekend.

Saturday mornings we look forward to getting up and working together in the kitchen as a family to make a delicious breakfast that we all enjoy. Changing up what we make every week is the fun part, we've created everything from Pumpkin Spice Waffles to Peanut Butter Blender Muffins by using our Electrolux Masterpiece Blender to create the perfect consistency to the batter. Breakfast is my favorite meal so I really look forward to creating these new recipes with my family. Actually, my youngest son loves creating recipes, especially these amazing Peanut Butter Banana Muffins (recipe below).

My kids may grow up with crazy schedules and run from one activity to the next during the week, but they will always know that weekends are for family and relaxing. We might think that the WEEKDAYS are when we're doing our most important work but in reality, our WEEKENDS together are when we're really living our best. These are the times the kids will remember and look back on fondly and that's what's really important.
